Skill Training Program
On September 4, 2004 BIM issued certificates to the women, who completed their skill training in Youhanabad Center. It was a ceremony of peace and harmony between Christian and Muslim. The program was started with the reading from Holy Quran and Holy Bible. The young women who finished their training exchanged gifts and greeting cards. Sister Livina Herman Gill, the Chairperson and founder of the Women and Children Programs, encouraged the students. She admired the students and teacher who continued their training even in the very hot weather. She also appreciated the parents who gave permission to their young daughters to join our training program. She also advised the student that they should continue their work when they will go back to their places. They should teach other girls who are not able to come to the center. She promised the students that if any one of them will open a Sewing Center in her village, she will provide services and financial help to them for the training center.
